The Director and Principal, Rajeshree Jaiswal, is an experienced educator, administrator, and organizer and mother all rolled into one. She ensures that every person, be it a student, parent or staff, is well taken care of. She tries to bring out the best in everyone, just by being her vivacious, spirited self.
Thehuge staff of more than 20 teachers, is well qualified and experienced, bound by strong passion for teaching young children, caring, patient and very friendly.There are several teachers in every class to ensure a total personal one-to-one environment for every child. They are more like mentors and guides and, by the end of the year, the children become so attached to their teachers that they turn into second mothers for them. Our non-teaching staff too is extremely competent, well-trained and take good care to maintain the children’s personal hygiene.
HISTORY :
Way back in 1996, an idea was born in the mind of Rajeshree Jaiswal. She yearned to plant the seed of education in young minds – the future of tomorrow. Gradually, this idea took the shape of a pre-school by the name of Funland Kindergarten. It began with one room, two teachers and 30 students. Now, after more than one and a half decade, Funland Kindergarten is one of the most sought after schools in West Nagpur.
THE VISION :
A Pre-Primary School represents a child’s first independent interaction with the outer society, without the protective umbrella of his family. A Kindergarten is necessary for the proper initial mental, social and psychological development of the children, since it is in these crucial years, that the attitude of the child towards school, society and discipline develops. At Funland, we believe that a child’s energy can be channelized into making a genius out of him. For this a stimulus approach to think, reflect and act, is required, which is in fact, the vision of the staff at Funland Kindergarten.

The Play-way Method :
Funland is true to its name – the motto being – ‘Where Learning is Fun!’ The students literally enter a land filled with fun and excitement while learning the ways of life by play and exploration. All our programs are tailored to foster every child’s social, aesthetic and motor skills. The tiny tots are introduced to studies in such a way that there is no pressure on them. Interesting new techniques and teaching aids are used in the school while preparing them for admission in bigger schools.
‘Every Child Onstage’ :
Every year, Funland Kindergarten proudly celebrates its Annual Gathering. Children perform a wide array of dances, skits, songs, plays, poems and dramas. They are presented in such a way that parents are left truly amazed at their raw talent, exuberance and boundless energy.
